This special night pays tribute to the 29 miners who lost their lives in the Upper Big Branch mining disaster—a tragedy that forever changed families, communities, and our entire state. Their memory lives on, and on this night, we honor their legacy with reverence, respect, and unity.

The on-track action will be powerful in its own right. The American All-Star Pro Late Models take center stage racing for a $10,000-to-win prize. And in a historic moment for the new WVMS short track, the FAST On Dirt 410 Sprint Cars make their maiden voyage, battling for $5,000 to win in their first-ever appearance on the reconfigured surface.

But above all, the heart of this event is reflection and remembrance. We gather not just as race fans, but as West Virginians, to honor the miners, support their families, and celebrate the strength of a community that continues to persevere.
